Trench extension

Hey all, 

Here are some pictures of my Infinity extension board I did for Mr. Adam stout. It's a 3' wide, by 4' long piece of eye candy I just had to share with you all. It's a Teseum mine, container yard, with a 90' (scale) overhead traveling crane. I also incorporated a dice tower, and a rail system, to link up with mine pieces; if the need ever comes up. The containers themselves were made by a very talented paper artist by the name of Tommygun. (Sadly, at the time of this post, his website looks to be down, so I linked to his Warseer forum pages. Look for his link to his website on the bottom of his posts).

 Thank you again for your generosity Tommygun, as this wouldn't look the same without your models!

As I am a knuckle head, with a severe case of technical bad luck, I was not able to get any production shots of the finished board. Adam being the fine human being that he is, brought the board down to demo it, at feast of blades and Rob from Spikey bits, was there and snapped some shots. A big thank you to Rob, and Adam for hooking a brother up, thanks guys!

Hail to art in all it's forms

I'm sitting in my hotel room, wiped out from 2 days of pure heaven. I have immersed myself in my hobby, one of my loves; and my favorite art form..... Yes you guessed it terrain. Not only terrain though, but I've been talking miniatures, fine scale modeling, painting techniques, art in many forms, as well as seeing business sharing ideas and innovative products like the Grex airbrush line (drool,…. it’s so cool) or the guy’s (and gal) from blue table painting, who are not only super cool and talented beyond belief, but absolute painting machines (like 12 straight hours, I think). Also I have to give mad props from my old media days to the guys from 40K nation working hard running a professional web streaming show, doing  interviews,  live blog celebs Q and A’s, as well as all the final games for this amazing  tournament (and that’s just what I've seen when I could peek in). I know that’s hard work, and their just so cool.

 I have been honored to talk with gamers from across the country, hobby enthusiast, curious hotel staff and guests, as well as artists of such an amazing caliber; I'm humbled by their inclusion of me in the community. To everyone I have talked with, it has been a sincere pleasure, for all the compliments, a humble thank you, to all the familiar faces I am getting to know, your loyalty shows the very best that people can be; and for all the support..... There is not a word I know that can encompass, or explain how much it means to me!

I'm so sorry I have been absent for so long, your good buddy saw had some serious technical issues. Fear not though, as I'm back and twice as crazy... here's some good news on the horizon:

I'm going to be starting a website to sell handmade terrain, Saw accessories, and a bunch of other stuff for your war gaming fix!

I have been putting a website together and will be sharing more about that in the coming weeks. if you would like to see some of my stuff in person, I will be at "Feast of Blades" happening at the end of October (26 - 28th)

The trench that Adam paid for

Hey all Saw here with some new goodness for your eye sockets. This was a commission for a fellow named Adam, and I have to say I like the way it turned out. It is a dessert style trench board with lots of tight corners, for super close combat. It is for a game system called infinity, but is scaled to play with any 28mm game system ;But enough of my babbles, here's the pics....

Ah yes, the last one has your truly messing with something. Once again I need to thank Adam for his patronage and faith in me as an artist to complete this project. Hang me on a wall

I'm very proud to announce that I will have 30 paintings on display for the month of November, down at McKinners pizza bar, located on beautiful main street in downtown Littleton.

I am both excited and nervous for this as it is a very intimate glimpse into my soul, but as an artist I do want to tell my story to the world.

The journey we take standing still

Life and death, good and bad, right and wrong, light and dark; it seems there is duality everywhere.

As I am dealing with a loss, I guess I am more hypersensitive to what I have. I am so thankful for everyone's support through this difficult time for me and mine. From the bottom of my heart...Thank you!

Through these hard times I have been creating some intense art. It seems that art really is pain, or through pain you can get some really deep work, another duality there. I invite you to take a look at my deviant art page to see some for yourself.

We are all striving for balance.

I know, I'm lame....

I totally know it, sorry....

I'm not dead, and I haven't quit, thanks for the emails & concern. I'm working on a super duper top secret project, that I have to have finished by next weekend. After that I will have a TON of pics! Also be looking for stickers & t shirts....Coming soon!

In the mean time, I invite you to look over some of the stuff I have posted in the past, you know get back in touch with your earlier Saw madness. See where it started, where it grew into awkward puberty and it's voice cracked, the emergence of the ugly punk rock butterfly that became the current Mothra known as Saw. Along the way you can play a little game I like to call, make fun of Saw's grammar. Oh well, we can't have it all.

Haiti and how you can help

I'm here to do my part.

I feel for the nation of Haiti, and could not imagine having to go through something as tragic as what is going on right now. I have seen refuge camps, and let me tell you these poor people, especially the children are living in hell right now.

Imagine your life turned upside down, separated from loved ones, with no way to know if there ok (your own kids), living where there was nowhere to go to the bathroom so your walking in feces and piss, no where safe to sleep, no food, disease/ injuries in a tropical environment with little medical help and little to no medical supplies, contaminated water, and little to no hope.

How sad.

If you want to help, here are a list of charitable organisations currently working in the country. If you are religious, please say a prayer for the suffering.....

If you don't have money, you have a voice. Tell others how they can help, start a donation drive wherever you live or work, make flyers, sell cookies, hassel golfers on the way in to the club (because we know they have money...lol), if your in a band, do a benifit show, go to your local hospital and/or clinic and ask for donations of medical supplies, anything. Rally around the goodness in your heart, and make a difference. Even though this didn't happen to you, does not make it ok to ignore the suffering going on, take action and please help.

Great Forum

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know about a awesome forum I am a new member of.

Great bunch of guys, who really bring it with some great models. They have other game type sections as well. The thing I like most about them, is there very fiercely independent, have a more mature group of members, and know more then just Games Workshop stuff.....

The only drawback is that there in the UK, so I don't see any tabletop battles happening...lol

I know I have been absent of late, but for those of you who don't know ( shame on you!), I also have a deviant art site. I have been painting most of this summer, to get some stuff out and I made a little video for you:

As for my 28mm compulsion, I have not forgot about you. I will upload some good pics soon, of a new terrain set:)

The scenario is mine shafts of the future.... complete with heavy mining rig, and a whole lot of Saw goodness! Think space hulk deep underground. They were looking for minerals, what they found was something completely different!

Don't give up on your old buddy Saw yet, because I haven't given up on you...

First of all...

Cogratulations to Dana & Charles Monroe on there wedding! It was a great celebration of there love, and I had a blast. We stayed with Dozer & his beautiful bride ( nickname coming), and it was awsome! We went on ther ghost tour and that was fun as well!

I was really hoping to get a ghost encounter, but I guess it was there day off...
